Helping New Puppies |
||
Plug the diffuser into an electrical socket in the room where your pup will spend most of his time and where he has his bed. Your pups bed is the place where he should always feel safe so it needs to be somewhere that is quiet and where there will not be too much human or animal traffic passing to disturb him. Never lift your pup out from his bed, it is his private place
and you should only pick him up after he has left it of his own free will. When you have to leave your pup alone or if you are having disturbed nights organize a game or take him for a short walk first so that he can dissipate some of his energy. If he will not settle try using a warm water bottle under the bedding or have a radio playing in the background to act as a distraction when it is quiet in the house. |
